The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security)at Al Azhar College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2023 and offers a four-year undergraduate degree program with an annual intake of 60 students. The curriculum encompasses key areas such as Foundations of Cyber Security, Cryptography and Network Security, Operating System and Network Security, Secure Software and Web Application Development, Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics and Incident Response, Cloud and IoT Security, Cyber Laws and Governance, Data Privacy and Protection, and Emerging Technologies in Cyber Security including AI-driven security solutions. The department boasts excellent infrastructure, including well-equipped computer labs, modern classrooms, and a well-stocked library. With a team of competent and dedicated faculty, the department actively encourages student participation in co-curricular activities alongside academics. Additionally, the department has an MoU with ASAP to provide industry-standard training, ensuring that students gain practical exposure and are well-prepared for professional challenges.

Microwave & Optical Communication Lab
- The laboratory is equipped with microwave benches at J band and H band, which includes expensive devices like klystron tubes, gun diodes, VSWR meter, directional couplers etc. some of the experiments are given below
- To study waveguide components.
- The characteristics of Gunn oscillator &Gun diode as the modulated source.
- Study of waveguide horn and its radiation pattern and determination of the Beamwidth.
- To study isolation and coupling coefficient of a magic Tee.
- To measure coupling coefficient, Insertion loss & Directivity of a Directional coupler.
Electronic Product Design Lab
The key features of the laboratory are
- A Printed Circuit Board Lab
- Licensed Simulation and Design Tools
- Facilities required to fabricate any B Tech level electronic products such as a) Workshop Tables, b) Bench wise c) Drilling Machines, d) Grinding machine e) Bending machine f) Sheet cutter, g) Transformer winding machine etc.
- The lab also keeps a stock of all the required items to make models of the products before actual fabrication.
